We are hiring a Senior Software engineer to help fuel our growth!
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement new features to maintain PriceYak’s lead in the dropshipping space.
- Continuously raise the bar in terms of code quality, performance, and systems design.
- Plan, design, and build our core platform software and systems to scale with an increasing number of users, features, and new engineers.
- Help our support agents with customer issues and fix bugs.
- Collaborate with our Head of Product in designing, testing and launching new features.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience (4+ years) building and operating large-scale, distributed backend systems.
- Skilled at developing and debugging in one or more programming languages.
- Empathy for the user and a sense for good UX.
- Experience with AWS and/or other cloud providers.
- An unquenchable thirst for learning new things and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly.
- Obsession with keeping costs low while building your products.
- Experience developing systems in web application frameworks.
Nice to Haves
- Expertise in Python, JavaScript, CSS, Meteor.
- Familiarity with Linux.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers on business and personal career goals.
