We are seeking a Business Content Writer to expand our ability to explain why technology strategy is business strategy and why IAM is central to business success. You will be responsible for brainstorming, creating, and transforming ideas into words for blog posts, landing pages, video scripts, whitepapers, and marketing campaigns. Our audience has zero tolerance for bs. The right candidate will avoid marketing-speak and hyperbole in favor of clarity and precision while still creating compelling and persuasive copy.

This role can be based remotely from a home office.


What You Will Do
  • Help deepen our overall business content strategy and broader content marketing efforts by creating content to attract additional enterprise customers
  • Develop different types of content (blog posts, whitepapers, landing pages, emails, videos, etc.) for diverse audiences
  • Develop a compelling brand story, from strategic positioning or conceptual creative strategy, for all content pieces
  • Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed or directed
  • Help oversee and scrutinize the consistency and quality of our brand voice, ensuring that we always sound like us
  • Assist in developing documentation to help streamline the work of others and increase consistency
  • Help research key business decision-making personas

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience writing business content for a technical audience for a company and/or a news organization, or business analyst experience — B2B technology preferred

Qualifications

In this role, you will work primarily in a client-facing capacity under the guidance of our Client Success Managers on a project basis. You will work with project teams to create visual designs cohesive with client branding and in alignment with best practices to increase conversions and improve user experience.

While you will primarily work on web visual design, the ideal designer would be comfortable with branding (identity work, logos, color palettes, business cards, etc.) as well as traditional marketing materials (whitepapers, annual reports, ads, etc.).

We’re looking for a visual designer who is a passionate creative, capable of bringing new ideas to the table for both our clients and internal needs. You must be educated on and able to communicate effectively about current trends and UI/UX best practices as well as back-up your creative decisions with data whenever possible.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define UI/UX and branding requirements
  • Create creative briefs for client review
  • Create mood boards and style guides to direct visual approach
  • Translate client business requirements, user needs, and technical requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that are thoughtful, visually engaging, easy-to-use, and that drive conversions
  • Present sketches and prototypes to clients and/or key stakeholders to gain approval
