The Role

  • As part of our ongoing growth, we are delighted to be in a position to add to our Content team. We are looking for a diligent Copywriter to help provide us with world-class content our clients love, and their customers adore.
  • You will be part of a content team and work alongside account strategists, PPC experts and marketing professionals.
  • You will assist the Content Manager in optimising the performance and quality of our clients Amazon listings as well as helping shape and contribute content marketing for the agency itself.
  • We are looking for someone that loves to write and enjoys applying their skills to a commercial environment. You will like taking an active role in achieving results for our clients and understanding how to represent their brand in the best possible light.
  • The role is suited to someone that loves responsibility, accountability and delivering results. You will be creative, entrepreneurial and always finding ways to drive growth.


Responsibilities

  • Copywriting – producing copy across a wide range of brands and product sectors
  • Brand, competitor and product research – getting under the skin of the brand and consumer behaviour to create listings that reflect customer desires
  • Briefing designers to create imagery to complement and enhance the product narrative
  • Keyword research to ensure listings are relevant customer search behaviour
  • Optimising listings and testing new formats to improve conversion rate
  • We need a confident writer who’ll apply our brand voice to every space in our app and website and make the user experience as smooth as possible.
  • Crafting copy to work with Amazon listing layout and design on mobile and desktop
  • Understanding of copy and design working together and content beyond just words
  • Experience producing content for Amazon stores or producing content for similar eCommerce websites.
  • Experience working with eCommerce brands, whether in-house, freelance or at an agency.
  • You will also contribute to developing the agency so it can scale quickly. For example,
  • Developing processes and frameworks to optimise performance
  • Developing new business through blogging, conference speaking, webinars and other methods

Become a part of the team as a Trending News Editor (m/f/d) on a remote and freelance basis, and take the following responsibilities:

  • Edit and write English high-quality content and articles, in positive language and wording
  • Research and identify stories in the field of human interest, lifestyle, celebrity news and other positive and emotional trends and topics
  • Monitor and analyse the reach of your content, using performance data and our internal KPIs, to derive and discover (viral) trends, stories and future content ideas
  • Report on stories and events, and conduct interviews where needed, and monitor our internal research tools and Social Media channels to ensure a timely breaking news coverage
  • Verify and factcheck the validity of your stories, events, and content in general
  • Become part of a global editorial team, covering different time zones and a multitude of backgrounds, and join the full editorial process to ensure 24/7 content production as a team


Requirements

  • Strong experience in Journalism, e.g. university degree in Journalism or similar
  • Strong experience in writing and editing online content, such as online magazines, news agencies, blogs, or similar
  • Strong experience in the field of Social Media content, especially Facebook
  • Ability to deliver high quality content under tight deadline pressure
  • Basic image editing skills, utilizing e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or similar
  • First experience with online media tools, such as Crowdtangle, Google Trends or similar, as well as Factchecking tools, is a big plus
  • Ideally, first experience with modern CMS like WordPress or similar
  • Ideally, first experience with modern project management tools such as Trello or Asana
  • Previous experience in the field of trending news is a big plus
  • English native, with flawless punctuation, spelling, and grammar is a must
