About this Role

As a Senior Developer in Test you will be leading our efforts in designing and developing our test automation framework. You will play a key role on our Core team building out an integral part of our project and managing scalable best practices as it relates to testing. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our founders and ensure we are creating plans and tests that will lead us to the next phase of growth.


Responsibilities
  • Develop a scalable test automation framework
  • Recommend and implement plans for improving testing and release processes
  • Create automated tests for new and existing functionality
  • Perform multiple types of black-box, white-box, and grey-box testing including functional, system, end to end, load testing, performance testing, data integrity, smoke, regression, and ad hoc testing
  • Submit comprehensive defects using our bug tracking system
  • Regress and verify defects as needed, record test results, and provide metrics
  • Analyze requirements, develop testing strategies, and write test cases
  • Test software applications at all points in the life cycle on multiple environments
  • Document procedural changes to improve company processes

Job requirements
  • 2+ years proven work experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • BS degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or related field
  • ITSQB Foundation Certification or higher
  • Experience with modern languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Golang, etc.
  • Experience with build automation technologies like Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions etc.
  • Experience with testing on AWS or other Cloud services
  • Experience with Agile-Scrum and other Agile methodologies
  • Experience with CypressJS or Selenium/WebDriver
  • Experience with load testing tools like JMeter or Robot Framework
  • Good analytical skills to work with developers for troubleshooting and peer review
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to flourish in a high growth and fast paced tech environments

This role is location agnostic anywhere in the world. Though we ask that you overlap some working hours with Eastern Standard Time (EST).

We are looking for a high achieving individual to join our small remote team, to work directly with our passionate co-founders and deliver results across our on-going projects.

Our project coordinator will work across various channels in our business, dealing with supplier communications, technical projects and more. This individual needs to be fully fluent in English.
We are a fully remote team, looking for someone to join us full time, on an Asian time zone (applications are welcome worldwide but candidate will be required to work with us on our GMT+7 time zone).


We are looking for someone who:
  • Has previously worked in a product management role, collaborating with multiple teams and is able to consistently deliver high quality outcomes
  • Is extremely organised and reliable. Comfortable coordinating multiple projects at once and using project management software and keeping to deadlines
  • Is very tech-savvy, with a high degree of technical competence around web and software in general
  • Is fluent in English and has a very high standard of written communication
  • Has previous remote work experience (with references)

Desirable added experience:
  • Experience with product development / manufacturer relations
  • Experience working with freelancers, influencers and artists
  • Experience with photoshop / adobe illustrator (for simple graphic edits)
  • Basic web design skills (HTML /CSS)
  • Keen interest in Japanese culture / stationery!

Your job will be to keep the magic alive by making bugs just poof disappear. Be prepared to cast powerful bug-squashing spells and write potent unit and acceptance tests to make sure your spells stick.
