Our growing company is in need of an experienced and ambitious content marketing manager to help develop and improve our marketing efforts. You will play a key role in copywriting and editing all content that comes through the door. The ideal candidate should have excellent writing skills and have some experience in the digital marketing field. This is an exciting position as you will be working hand-in-hand with the marketing director to make a real difference to the bottom line of the company. This is a remote position but we prefer someone close to a EST timezone and even better if you reside in Canada.


Responsibilities
  • Serve as editor-in-chief for all content to ensure quality, clarity and consistency
  • Refresh old content across our website to improve readability and SEO
  • Write new content (copywriting) across our website for key pages
  • Formatting content to fit our CMS
  • Work with designers and developers to get a top-notch finished product
  • Help write content for marketing automation platform (Hubspot)

Experience Required
  • Understanding of content marketing tactics, such as SEO, digital advertising and social media marketing
  • 2+ years experience in the digital marketing field
  • Excellent digital copywriting skills
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Salary: $60,000 CAD

The Software Engineer of a small, fast-paced, agile software development team focused on achieving results. This team is focused on developing and improving high quality, enterprise solutions for their client. Individuals in this role will work on a suite of SaaS products and will spend their time as follows - product infrastructure development(40%), new feature development(35%), and software issue resolution (bug fixes) (25%). You will:
  • Develop and deploy high-volume distributed and scalable applications in Java while maintaining the project schedule
  • Participate in the design, provide input into architectural decisions, and standardization efforts influencing product or service
  • Work closely with Product management to define Requirements
  • Take end-to-end ownership of the development of products and services service, while coordinate with internal and external teams/stakeholders as appropriate

Who you are?

A results oriented, high performing technologist with a strong desire to deepen their own expertise and be part of a fast growing, software product company. You are experienced working with agile development methods,willing to work fast without compromising on the quality of the work. You are comfortable taking risks, making mistakes and learning from mistake.


You have:
  • A minimum of 5 years of web application development work; with at least two years working remotely
  • Practical experience writing in Java, Gradle, Spring Boot, JavaScript, jQuery, JavaScript, front end JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, vue, etc.)
  • Strong Experience in Web Development (Full Stack Development)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline required; masters preferred

Role

We're hiring a customer success manager to ensure our customers are successful at using Canny. As the main point of contact for the majority of our users, you'll play a key role in our success 🚀


Responsibilities
  • Be the main point of contact for customer support via live chat
  • Become intimately familiar with Canny's product in order to field technical/product-related questions
  • Give customers demos during the onboarding process
  • Identify opportunities to improve onboarding, engagement, and retention
  • Help us build our enterprise sales process

Qualifications
  • You have 3+ years experience crushing it in a customer-facing role
  • Empathy is second nature for you; you enjoy helping people solve their problems
  • You can digest and effectively communicate technical concepts across audiences of varying technical ability
  • You're great at coming up with ideas for increasing product adoption and customer retention
  • You're a team player with high level of integrity; you're productive working remotely
