We are now seeking a talented and original Online Visual Merchandiser to help create a first-class curated shopping experience on site and across brand communications.

Requirements

What we need?

  • A design eye that knows how to put the 'modern' or 'fun' into vintage
  • Strong knowledge of vintage designer names (or is able to up-skill fast)
  • Product presentation which is commercially strong and visually pleasing
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience working within an interior or lifestyle VM environment
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • 60% of your time will be spent immersing yourself into our merchandising system - curating and ordering items. So it takes a certain kind of individual who is prepared to marry the admin with the creative in bringing their VM vision to life.
  • Photoshop and Excel skills
  • Great image curation skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Confidence in sharing your expertise with best practice examples and trends.


What you'll be doing day-to-day

  • Guardian of visual merchandising guidelines across the brand (site, social, emails, marketing campaigns)
  • Analyse weekly sale reports and marketing calendars to ensure appropriate products are featured
  • Work with the Operations team in identifying sellers that meet brand guidelines
  • Work with the Marketing team to identify products / influencers / sellers of interest
  • Work with Design and Social teams to create graphic mood boards for use across social and marketing
  • Work with Product team and champion new features and processes to improve VM on site.
  • Style marketing campaigns and shoots on ad hoc basis (if you have the hands-on styling skills to match)
  • Engage with sellers to build relationships and encourage engagement - leveraging their vintage expertise in your work.

We’re looking for a PHP Developer who will lead the development of our plugins and integrations. We offer to our clients a number of plugins that integrate our solutions with the most common CMSs: Wordpress, Joomla!, Prestashop and Magento. Additionally to the aforementioned PHP-based plugins, we also maintain a number of integrations for non-PHP platforms. We’re looking for a maintainer for all these integrations.


What you'll do

  • Maintain our existing PHP plugins;
  • Develop new features and integrate with new platforms;
  • Participate in designing the new features and in managing all aspects of our integrations.


Location

Bologna and Milan, Italy or remote.

Requirements

  • Advanced PHP knowledge;
  • Experience with GitHub and a solid understanding of Git core concepts.

We're a small team that designs and develops eCommerce themes for the Shopify Theme Store and builds custom themes for Shopify Plus merchants. Our team is remote and based in San Francisco, Kansas City, and Europe.


About the Role

We currently have 3 themes in the Shopify Theme Store and are looking for a UI/UX designer to bring fresh ideas to the table and design strategic, ongoing updates for our themes. The position is contract-based and will last 3-6 months in the least.

The ideal candidate is a UI/UX designer with extensive experience designing eCommerce sites specifically on Shopify. The responsibilities will include:

  • Designing new sections, features, and functionality for our themes based on user feedback and industry trends
  • Collaborating with our development team throughout the implementation process
  • Actively identifying opportunities for improvement in our themes


About the Applicant

  • 3+ years of UI/UX experience for ecommerce sites as an agency or as a freelancer
  • Tasks like designing a product form, megamenu, quick buy, or slider should be second nature
  • Portfolio of eCommerce sites spanning multiple industries (fashion, health and beauty, food and beverage etc)
  • Experience with Shopify and ideally and ideally with other paid Shopify themes
  • Experience working alongside a front-end development team
  • Ability to manage yourself with limited oversight, strong drive, and organization skills
  • Fluent English written and spoken
  • An excellent sense of humor :)


Compensation
