JOB HIRING: Social Media Manager (Virtual)

Compensation: $85,000 Annually

As our Social Media Manager, you are the voice of Bytion.co. Our online presence is developing to participate in today’s hyper-connected consumer buying process. We seek a data-driven, web copywriter with a talent in conversion-based copywriting methods within a Software as a Service (SAAS) environment.
Become our “hands on” social media leader to help us create, define, and administer our company’s social media marketing strategy. Each social channel (Twitter, Youtube, etc) has metrics related to performance that we want you to help us understand. We need you to create different campaigns for social media, drive attention with topics/hashtags, enhance our sales campaigns, provide insights, and ultimately develop Social KPI’s that help us gain visibility and increase engagement.
Responsibilities:
  • Expand marketing avenues to social, unifying company and product brands
  • Build credibility and reputation with consumers
  • Establish ROI, develop quality metrics, and engage customers
  • Build our social brand
  • Create and optimize messaging copy that people actually want to read
  • Work with UX designers and product managers to decide the best approach to content, and produce copy that is helpful and clear
  • Write copy while expressing charm and personality using words and ideas (and sometimes emojis) to entice the targeted audience, for marketing our websites, online ads, email marketing, etc.
  • Write CTAs that get people to click on the right buttons
  • Help other departments with written communications

Requirements:
  • 4-10 years of experience copywriting, preferably showcasing conversion-related copywriting methods
  • 2+ years of SAAS, web-driven copywriting experience
  • 2+ years leading a social media/marketing group
  • 1+ years working with social media analytical tools
  • Must be the pulse on social trends and introduce us to up and coming social tools to for measuring performance (IE Hootsuite, A/B Testing, Optimizely, Marketing Optimization Tools, etc)
  • Can provide examples of short and long term social initiatives
  • Can explain KPI's that clearly tie it back to ROI
  • Command social stats in a way that ties back to company objectives
  • Creating social media objectives based on past experiences
  • Must be able to create social benchmarks
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Interest in UX and product copywriting
  • Expert understanding of writing mechanics and English Grammar
  • Familiarity with trends and styles in all aspects of writing for the web
  • A college degree or a good story about why you don’t have one
