Veeqo streamlines all ecommerce operations for retail brands, including order management, shipping and inventory control between Amazon, BigCommerce, eBay, Magento, Shopify and WooCommerce into one single platform. 

We're looking for an experienced mobile designer to take our native mobile apps to the next level, whilst keeping the design in line with the main Veeqo web app. The job is flexible and could be a short, fixed-term contract or on a freelance basis depending on availability, experience and suitability for the role. The salary will be competitive. 


Responsibilities: 

- Delivering high-standard visual designs and user-flows that simplify complex problems. 
- Use customer feedback and user research to create user-centered designs. 
- Building on and improving existing features and functionality. 
- Work alongside developers and design team to seek, receive and give feedback. 
- Have extensive knowledge in multi-screen layout, final production art, information design, typography, color, composition, flows and UI specifications. 
- Keep up to date with the latest trends for mobile design. 


Requirements 

- Strong visual design skills evidenced by examples of where you've created pixel-perfect products. 
- Passionate about delivering amazing user experiences. 
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. 
- Experience in designing mobile user interfaces for native mobile apps is essential. 
- An online portfolio of work, showing great user-centric design solutions highlighting mobile design. 
- Keen eye for visual hierarchy in design - including typography and layout. 
- Expert level proficiency in a variety of design tools, including: Sketch, Adobe CC Suite, Invision and Balsamiq. 
- Understanding of best practises in web design and usability principles. 
- Working collaboratively, presenting and implementing designs across teams. 
- Self-motivated with an ability to hit deadlines and work independently. 
- Experience working with a remote team is a plus.
