We're hiring an experienced professional to write resumes. The ideal candidate knows how to research subject matter and ask good questions to better understand a client's professional work history. You'll need a Windows computer and Microsoft Office. The role is project-based and flexible in hours. This position will be remote/work from home.


The Details: 

Independent Contractor Status: Maintain the freedom of an independent contractor while benefiting from a consistent flow of clients aligned with your availability.

Projects and Time Frames: Projects include varying levels of resumes to be completed with 24 hours.

Schedule: Set your own schedule. You may accept as few or as many projects as you wish.

Customer Service: We provide a service that revolves around delivering a quality product to our clients that leads to their next great job. Superior client service is critical and exceptional email communication is an absolute necessity.


Responsibilities : 

• Check-in regularly for assignments and meet submission deadlines 
• Review job descriptions for our clients' targeted positions 
• Write concise content for resumes following our brand standards 

Required Skills : 

• Professional resume writing background preferred but not required. Those with 2+ years in career coaching, human resources, or recruiting experience will be considered 
• Extraordinary writing and editing skills with impeccable attention to detail 
• Superb time management skills and personal organization skills 
• Customer service is in your DNA 
• The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines 
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word with a strong aptitude for formatting. We require the use of Microsoft Word for all writers (no online Word alternatives, OpenOffice, etc.) 
• Resume writing certifications a plus 
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 

Traits you should have : 

• You communicate well. You can write clearly, getting your point across without fluff, and generally have a great grasp of the written word. 
• You know your grammar. You know when to use "your" and "you're." 
• You're pursuing a Bachelor's degree or already have a college degree. 
• You're eager to modify your writing style based on our feedback. We've got a great system of resume principles that get our clients outstanding results, so we're looking for people who happily accept training.

We want to see your ability to put forth your own resume and make adjustments based on these instructions.
