We are aThemes, a WordPress theme company (we also run a popular blog about WordPress on the side) and we are looking for a designer who can create new demos/starter sites using Elementor for our theme Airi.

You should have both a talent for design (and care about typography, colors, balance and so on) and experience building websites with Elementor page builder for WordPress. We are looking for someone who can create modern, conversion optimized, beautiful templates for our users.


What you should have
  • Background in design with the portfolio to back it up
  • Experience with WordPress and Elementor (building websites for clients with these tools)
  • A high-level understanding of what makes good design
  • Fluent English

 Short version

 We are looking for a designer who can help us create demos/starter sites for our WordPress theme Airi. You can see the existing demos here: https://athemes.com/airi-demos/
You must be familiar with both WordPress and Elementor.


The process is as follows:
  • Come up with ideas for demos (e.g. cafe, gym, yoga studio)
  • Create the site in Elementor (the free version) on a test install. It should have a homepage and a few other pages (Blog, About, Contact Us etc)
  • Send us the exported files/setup the site on our demo servers
  • We are looking for someone long-term who can create multiple demos/sites for us each month (say 1 per week initially).

Please send us a short cover letter that includes a link to your best design work as well as your expected hourly rate (plus anything else you deem relevant).

This is a fully remote position meaning you can work from anywhere.

We are a small team so you will have the chance to have a big impact on the work we do. You will also have a lot of autonomy. So you should be someone who can work with little direction (once you get going).
