SimpleTexting is a fast growing text message marketing and business texting SaaS product company in search of a savvy generalist — a versatile renaissance type individual to help with general management of the business. Activities may include leading new business initiatives, aspects of operations, HR, or even product. The responsibilities below are some of the things that you might be involved in but should not be construed to be a fixed static set of duties for this role — it's merely a range of possibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake special projects and initiatives that drive the business. For example, lead the international expansion of SimpleTexting
  • Pay close attention to daily operations, recommend and create improved courses of action where necessary
  • Establish policies, maintain budgets, and manage operations
  • Oversee performance management, while maintaining a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive, and organizational outcomes are met
  • Communicating and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for staff members
  • Overseeing the monthly financial statement to ensure it is complete, accurate and submitted on time to the directors
  • Structure channel partnerships and help onboard enterprise clients with unique challenges

Demonstrable Abilities Required
  • A history of ability to conceive and execute on meaningful initiatives
  • A history of ability to identify talent and promote it. And a corresponding ability to deselect individuals that are a poor organizational fit
  • Ability to zoom between macro and micro, and to apply elbow grease where necessary — not too proud to do "low level" work as a situation may require
  • Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives, created in tandem with Company Leadership
  • Confident decision maker, with a solid grasp of data & analytics, and performance metrics
  • Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement

  • Coming from an organization effectively using OKRs or EOS
  • Computer Science fluency
  • Experience with subscription software and freemium products, additional plus if horizontal SaaS
  • Fluent Russian speaker
