We are currently looking to welcome to our Team an experienced and skilled Web Developer!


Your Mission:

  • As our dedicated Web Developer you will be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our website, as well as for all aspects of Vimerson’s web & mobile architecture, design, and development.
  • You’ll be part of a tight-knit team and will be collaborating with our creative and marketing experts to understand and improve on all the different touchpoints of our digital experience, and you will apply your critical thinking in order to bring creative ideas and drive effective solutions.
  • You are a self-motivated and driven professional, with a solid experience in developing websites and web applications.
  • You love coding, and you are committed to providing solutions that represent and support business processes and vision.
  • Your approach to problem-solving is positive, and it comes easy for you to communicate your ideas clearly.
  • You have an excellent command of the English language, you are punctual, able to set priorities, and achieve multiple goals within deadlines.
  • You put happiness and self-fulfillment first, proactively seeking your ideal life/work harmony.


As our Web Developer, you will:

  • Work side by side with your Sales & Marketing teammates to drive the definition of improvements based on business and architectural needs.
  • Be responsible for the overall technical design of solutions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionalities.
  • Contribute to evolving software excellence, architecture, design, coding standards, testing, patterns, automation, tools, etc.
  • Manage the web & mobile development and cross-browser compatibility, with a specific focus on Shopify integrations.
  • Collaborate with the wider Marketing team to deliver campaigns, including experience with CRM systems.
  • Develop content through HTML, CSS, JS, and other web content management tools.
  • Create and maintain HTML/CSS using responsive and mobile-first standards, aligned with web best-practices.
  • Own site performance and web accessibility best practices.
  • Configure A/B tests and personalized experiences.
  • Troubleshooting issues or bugs across browsers and devices.
  • Configure media/marketing/analytics tags.


Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in web programming and the ability to independently diagnose and solve code problems.
  • Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and server-side Java and JSP.
  • Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms (such as mobile vs, desktop), and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
  • Experience using browser dev-tools for debugging problems
  • Strong experience with image and HTML coding optimization for email.
  • Passion for new technologies and a strong understanding of consumer behaviors and trends.
  • Ability to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
  • Experience in working on solutions for e-commerce websites is a MUST.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
