Dropified is looking to hire a passionate UI/UX Designer and Developer, you'll be responsible for taking ownership of the entire user experience within the web app from design through to implementation.

You should be passionate about making great products and delighting users with fun and intuitive user experience.

A typical week may include designing a new cancellation process to retain customers, or a notification system to improve app engagement. You'll design components as needed and implement them using your knowledge of HTML/CSS, Javascript and views in Python/Django.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Re-designing the UI of the web app. Using libraries and designing new components as needed.
  • Using creativity to improve the UX of complex multi step features to ensure they're intuitive and easy to use.
  • Implement your designs in HTML/CSS/JS and Django Views
  • Maintain a CSS/HTML component library that the whole team can use
  • Writing clear and structured code and markup

You'll have the freedom to design features as you think is best so a focus on conventional, maintainable and clean code and markup is a must. Most importantly, you should understand how the feature you're designing is used by the customer.

  • Requirements


You must have:

  • 3+ years experience designing unique user interfaces and crafting user experiences
  • 3+ years experience with Javascript and jQuery
  • Some experience with a backend server language, such as Python/Django.
  • Knowledge of maintainable CSS systems (BEM, Atomic, Bootstrap etc)
  • An eye for visual detail
  • Experience working with teams using Git and Github
  • A strong interest in eCommerce
