SEO Manager

Arc is looking for an experienced SEO Manager to join our team. This role is focused on rapidly growing our organic traffic channels to help us attract both remote job seekers and hiring managers. You’ll strategize high-impact campaigns, execute them with support from the team, and report the results achieved using Google Analytics or similar tools. In this role as SEO Manager, you’ll have a tremendous impact on traffic, growth, and conversions at Arc while also helping our users build extraordinary remote careers. This role is 100% remote and reports to the Head of Marketing.


Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership to plan, execute, and optimize Arc’s SEO strategy
  • Review technical SEO issues, working closely with the dev team to ensure that domains are properly crawled and indexed
  • Maintain Arc’s backlink profile including disavowing unnatural links
  • Monitor, assess, and report on SEO related KPI’s
  • Develop and implement white hat link building strategies
  • Optimize landing page copy and meta tags
  • Analyze SEO keywords and strategies used by competitors
  • Advise our Content Marketing Manager for all content initiatives
  • Assist with other marketing team related and Codementor SEO tasks as needed


Qualities We Look For

  • 3+ years of experience in SEO strategy (both technical and content), ideally with large sites
  • Knowledge of what factors influence crawling and indexation, page rendering and load speed, and on-site and off-site organic search ranking
  • In-depth experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Surfer SEO, and other related tools
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Search Console
  • Ability to perform technical SEO audits and work closely with the dev team to make changes
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Familiar and passionate about startups, internet, and technology


Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience with content marketing and content creation
  • Experience working on a distributed team
  • Experience with global SEO strategy
