ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a team of 4 people
  • Identify high potential content sites with the main purpose of M&A activity (Mergers and Acquisitions)
  • Responsible for the development and execution of our content strategies based on measurable goals for the website
  • Use research and insights to understand relevant target audiences and which content channels (Social, SEO, blogs etc.) will reach them the most effectively
  • Optimization of our existing dating websites
  • Create concepts for new content sites to support company’s growth strategy into new verticals
  • Guarantee high quality and consistency of content
  • Professional management of content writers (external and internal)
  • Monitoring and analysing the website traffic and optimizing towards higher reach
  • Support online marketing on landing page content with a specific focus on conversion optimization.
  • Work closely with our agencies to guarantee link building on top notch sites
  • Develop new strategies to increase link popularity
  • Grow our DACH-cluster to the next level while bringing additional value into our english-speaking core markets (AU, US, UK and CA)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment, promoting new products/businesses supported by a proven large-scale media property
  • Monitor page performance and use your professional experience and knowledge to optimize for maximum profitability and growth
  • Directly report to the Head of Online Marketing

REQUIREMENTS

  • An academic degree or similar in communication, business administration and other relevant fields
  • 5+ years of experience in managing SEO campaigns in a performance-orientated company
  • Experienced with leading a team
  • International mindset, fluent in English and another language, written and spoken, German is a plus
  • Hard- and smart-working, persistent and dependable
  • Experience in using metrics to establish, validate and iterate on your content strategy. You should have comfort and experience using particularly those metrics that are related to lead generation and top-of-funnel awareness
  • Flexibility & ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • A strong communicator with a can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done
  • Excellent strategic planning skills with the ability to identify, prioritize and articulate high impact campaigns, content and initiatives
