The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of full stack software and engineering experience and a history of managing junior developers and working with product teams. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to collaborate across areas such as architecture, product and operations to ensure that Vault products meet high quality standards. We find that smart, driven, and dedicated people who like working on socially-impactful products are a great fit for our culture.

  • Have a BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Write high-quality code that is scalable and testable
  • Can code/document APIs
  • Have architected and built mobile-first, secure applications
  • Have participated in the full software development life-cycle, including the code and architecture reviews process.
  • Have collaborated iteratively with a Product team to help clarify requirements and scope
  • Have helped establish development best practices and guidelines

Dev qualifications:

  • 5-10+ years of professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails and Postgresql (Preferred) or Similar
  • 2+ years of experience working with JS Frameworks (React / Ember / Vue) or Similar
